At Irwin-Jackson & Co, Inc. our objective is to increase and formalize the amount of business consulting we do without interfering with existing services to our business clients.  In order to accomplish our goals in the consulting area we are committed to hire ahead of our need.  

We have the following two employment opportunities at this time: 

Staff Accountant.  This is an entry-level position for a CPA in training and therefore requires that a candidate meet the minimum education requirements to sit for the California CPA exam.  For more details, go to the “Job Descriptions” section of this site. 

Audit Manager.  The person we hire will have significant input into designing or customizing this position. 

This position is designed as an owner training position. Therefore, the individual will be involved in almost all the areas for which owners are responsible.  The individual must be a self starter, have 3 or more years working as senior or above, be experienced serving small business, and have a desire to grow professionally and personally.  Significant audit experience or an MBA would be very interesting to us, but are not essential.  For a more detailed job description go to “Job Descriptions”.
